Pete and Lisa Hibler

Pete Hibler was recently heard saying that he thought his job description was "problem solver".  That is exactly what he does, and he does it very well, for both Arguijo and and our customers.  With a quick mind, there's not much you can throw at him that he can't handle.  He is an excellent heavy equipment operator, and also enjoys getting "down in the ditch" if needed, right beside his people.  With all of Pete's experience, he is also a Veriforce Operator Qualification (OQ) Evaluator, and is avid about safety in the workplace and on location.  Pete is always fielding phone calls, and is often the first one called when a customer has a crisis.  His responses are always aimed at resolving the situation quickly with a minimum of cost to the customer.  This leader stays quite busy, yet is always available to his employees, and that's only one of the many reasons for his success.

With Arguijo being her maiden name, Lisa Hibler has been around the pipeline business for many years. Even though she is the company president, she's always accessible to employees.  However, you'll be lucky to catch this busy ladyl  She's constantly on the go - involved in many projects and taking care of her family, plus she's always doing something to make others happy.  Lisa always has a warm smile and a quick wit to make others comfortable, and has an innovative thought process that helps to keep Arguijo on the cutting edge in the pipeline industry.  Employees are pleased to call her "Boss Lady".

Jesus

Jesus "Chuey" Lujan

Chuey Lujan has been in the oilfield pipeline industry for 29 years, and 25 of those years have been with Arguijo. He has worked his way up the ladder, and seen many jobs and situations throughout those years.  Chuey is based out of our Kermit, Texas location, but has been known to work in New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arizona.  Chuey's expertise lies mainly in hydrotesting and laying fiberglass pipeline, and he stays quite busy.  You can't be around Chuey without smiling, because he always is.

Encarnacion

Encarnacion "Chon" Lujan

Encarnacion Lujan, better known as "Chon" and brother to Chuey Lujan, has been with Arguijo's for 11 years.  He began as a general laborer and worked his way up to the foreman that he is now.  During that time he developed his skills in excavation of pipe for recoating using hotwax techniques or scotchkote, and has been heading up our recoat team for the past 8 years.  Chon is almost always out of town, and says that he enjoys that because he is usually in a cooler climate and not fighting the Texas heat. When asked what he enjoys most about his projects, he replied that seeing the completion of a project and the nicely dressed location or fenced valve areas that we built are his pride and joy, along with looking forward to the next project.

Joe Deaton
Joe Deaton

Joe Deaton has been in the pipeline business since 1967.  In the early years he did nearly everything on the maintenance end, and became accomplished at oil spill remediation.  His more recent experiences include being the head inspector on several major projects in Texas and Utah.  After bringing Joe on to our staff, we kept him tied up for 9 months re-building an entire compressor station in New Mexico.  Joe is indeed a welcome addition to our staff!
